Because I had never had professional photos taken before I was a little nervous and did not know what to expect. I had no idea what to wear, how to do my hair, make-up, how to sit, smile, not smile, etc. The first photographer I used made no effort to make me feel any more comfortable and barely communicated with me through out the shoot. When I saw my photos I was disappointed at how unnatural I looked and decided my modeling career was over before it started!
Then through the advice of a good friend I met Dawn Stenzel. We met for a consultation and discussed at length the type of modeling I was getting into and the types of looks I was going for. She researched the agencies I was interested in and told me exactly what to bring. She looked into the make-up artist that would specialize in the look I was going for. The day of the shoot we hung out and got to know each other so by the time we started shooting, I was totally comfortable and felt like I was hanging out with a friend. Dawn told me what did and didn't look good so I knew when I was on the right track. When I got my photos back I was amazed at the results!
